A. Warranty Policy
1. Product Quality
● Our furniture is made from wood that has been polished to proper moisture content. This lessens the effect of the solid wood’s normal seasonal expansion and contraction.
● The solid wood we use to make our furniture goes through a number of processes to ensure that the humidity levels in the wood are just right. Prior to manufacturing, we apply treatments to prevent borer larvae from hatching in the wood.
● Our furniture is constructed entirely of solid wood. They have their own distinct natural variations, as well as the occasional slight blemishes that come with these products.
● Mod WeBe goods are treated for borer infestation and come with a 48-month warranty from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, we can accept a repair order of the product free of charge if the customer submits a request for exchange along with the original invoice.
● Material replacement/exchange is subject to availability. If the replacement /alternative product is not available from us, Mod WeBe reserves the right to substitute a product of comparable value (to the warranted product) or a gift voucher of comparable value. The warranty is valid after the Mod WeBe Quality Control team has checked and confirmed the product in writing.
● No alterations or modifications should have been made to / in the product(s) at the time of exchange, and the defective product must be in its original state for Mod WeBe to honour the exchange or repair order.
● Because the solid wood and materials used in our furniture each have their own unique characteristics, the changing seasons/climate, as well as any excessive dryness of the air, can cause superficial hairline cracks in the wood. We make every effort to keep certain natural occurrences in the woods to a minimum. However, a complete removal is not feasible due to the existence of the wood/materials used to make the items.
● The duration of the warranty for the transferred product/ repaired product is equal to the remaining length of the initial warranty of the product when it was bought initially by the consumer.
● The aforementioned warranty shall not be considered as a rolling/continuing warranty and the goods exchanged due to borer infestation shall be insured only for the remainder of the initial warranty duration (i.e., the remainder of the actual 48 months warranty period).
● Mod WeBe’s liability for any knock-down furniture is 48 (forty-eight) hours from the date of delivery of the product due to incorrect installation of the product by our personnel/representative.
2. In the event of a manufacturing defect in non-upholstered products (any defect discovered on the product due to poor workmanship):
● Since wood is a natural product, it may have defects, colour variations, and imperfections, which are all considered part of its natural beauty. Natural colour variations, loops, stress marks, and other flaws in the workmanship and materials are not considered flaws. Even with the best therapies, weather effects can cause some degradation of outdoor wooden furniture. If not properly used and cared for, wood surfaces may be dented, scratched, and so on. All surface finishes mellow with age, so users can keep that in mind.
● We guarantee that our products are free of manufacturing defects; however, in the unlikely event that a product is defective, we will exchange, repair, or refund using our gift vouchers during the warranty period, subject to review, verification, and confirmation of the manufacturing defect. The preceding warranty is not a rolling or continuing warranty, and the goods transferred or fixed are only insured for the remainder of the initial warranty term (i.e., the remainder of the actual 4-year warranty period).
● Furthermore, Mod WeBe performs the replacement or repair of the defective product at the customer’s original delivery address, which the customer provided during the purchase of the faulty product.
● Mod WeBe agrees to honour the customer’s request for an exchange, repair, or refund of the faulty product if the customer provides either the original invoice/bill or a copy/Xerox of the original invoice/bill, proving proof of purchase of the faulty product.
● Mod WeBe reserves the right to swap, fix, or refund any defective product/s due to expansion of cracks, twisting, or knots. For Mod WeBe to honour the request for an exchange, repair, or refund, no alteration or modification to / in the product/s must have been made/carried out, and the defective product must be in its original state. If the product is changed in some way by the consumer, Mod WeBe’s responsibility to exchange, fix or refund the product will end immediately.
● Any complaint raised by a customer will receive a response from Mod WeBe within 7 (seven) working days from the date of the complaint. Please note that during this period, a Mod WeBe representative will inspect the product for the purpose of resolving the customer complaint.
● If our personnel/representative wishes to perform minor repairs on the defective product, the faulty products must be made available to our personnel/representative at your address.
● The length of the warranty for the repaired or replaced product is equal to the remaining length of the original warranty of the product when it was purchased originally by the customer.
● If the customer purchases a product from an exhibition sale, the product is considered “bought as seen and liked,” and Mod WeBe will not accept any requests for exchange, replacement, or refund unless the product has a manufacturing defect or borer infestation, in Mod WeBe’s opinion, that compromises the structural integrity of the product.
● All hardware spare parts and components, such as bolts, hinges, channels, magnets, and nuts, have a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase. However, for the warranty of accessories/hardware spare parts, the same process as for the exchange or repair of any defective product must be followed.
3. In the Case of Customized Furniture:
● If the products are purchased as customized furniture, the same terms and conditions apply to any exchange, replacement, or refund request as they do for products with manufacturing defects or borer infestation only.
● Only in the event of a manufacturing malfunction or borer infestation can goods that are explicitly tailored/engineered as per a customer’s particular request be exchanged, substituted, or refunded.
B. What the Mod WeBe Product Warranty Doesn’t Cover:
● Unless otherwise stated, fabrics and leathers. Please refer to the care instructions to extend the life of these materials.
● Product appearance or any harm to the product arising from normal wear and tear in the natural course of product use, taking into account the product’s age, nature, function, composition, and price, as well as damage caused by using the product for purposes other than those intended.
● Any harm to the product caused by a third-improper party’s installation or assembly, storage, improper maintenance, misuse or usage that is not in accordance with the intended use, alterations or repairs, water damage, or discoloration caused by exposure to sunlight.
● There are no other guarantees, expressed or implied, in any of the above-mentioned cases, including breakages to glass, mirrors, and stone tops after delivery confirmation of the product.
B. What the ModWeBe Product Warranty Doesn't Cover:
Unless otherwise stated, fabrics and leathers. Please refer to the care instructions to extend the life of these materials.
Product appearance or any harm to the product arising from normal wear and tear in the natural course of product use, taking into account the product’s age, nature, function, composition, and price, as well as damage caused by using the product for purposes other than those intended.
Any harm to the product caused by a third-improper party’s installation or assembly, storage, improper maintenance, misuse or usage that is not in accordance with the intended use, alterations or repairs, water damage, or discolouration caused by exposure to sunlight.
There are no other guarantees, expressed or implied, in any of the above-mentioned cases, including breakages to glass, mirrors, and stone tops after delivery confirmation of the product.
C. Miscellaneous:
In the absence of a suitable large service elevator within the delivery address, we can only deliver your furniture/product up to one flight of stairs. Mod WeBe is not liable for manual movement of furniture parts/items, and in the absence of an elevator at the delivery address, any damage/s to the product/furniture or to the furniture shall be at the sole risk and responsibility of the consumer.

ModWeBe’s responsibility is limited to the purchase price of the faulty or non-compliant goods, and ModWebe will not be held responsible for any indirect damage/s, costs, expenditures, or financial losses incurred by you or a third party in any circumstances.
D. Delivery and Transit Damage:
- We design our packaging to be both environmentally friendly and strong! We test our boxes so as to ensure that the products are not damaged during transportation and delivery.
- In the unfortunate event of the product being damaged during transportation, we will replace it within 7 days of receiving a notification from you and a confirmation from our representative *(dependent on local availability, and logistics; this excludes custom orders).
E. Cancelling an Order or Part of an Order
1. Time Frame
- If you change your mind after placing an order, you can cancel the order (or part of the order) within 1 (one) day of the order confirmation. Please write to us on wecare@modwebe.com for any cancellation request within the 24 hours window mentioning your order id.
F. Shipping & Delivery Duration:
- All products will be made available within 3-4 weeks upon order confirmation
